Google Maps Australia

Finally, the super-creepy surveillance side of Google Maps has reached Australia. Presumably only on the streets of Sydney initially, Google Street View has been sent out into the world to record each and every movement of anyone who crosses its path.

Look for an address in Google Maps and if the area has been recorded, click on the Street View button for a panorama view of that area. Sometimes locations can be a bit off, and obviously images are updated on various timescales (similar to Google Earth - some shots date back to 2006), but overall it's pretty accurate.

If a little creepy.
