Behold - the encyclopaedia of pasta shapes.

Most interestingly, this includes a shape known as Marille, which is unusual in that a) it's a recent shape, b) its designer is known, and c) it is no longer available. Marille's designer, Giorgetto Giugiaro, previously had designed some of the most distinctive cars in the world and in 1999 was named Car Designer of the Century.

I like it - it's got a modern deco feel, but I fear that it would just fold over and collapse once cooked. We'll never know now...
